Cold Brew, or cold brewed coffee, is a refreshing and smooth way to enjoy coffee, perfect for hot days.
Ingredients :
- 1 cup of ground coffee (coldbrew grind) or 3 single doses
- Coffee filter (if ground coffee)
- 4 cups of cold water
- Sugar or syrup (optional)
- Milk or cream (optional)
- Ice cubes
Steps with ground coffee:
-
In a large container, mix the ground coffee with the 4 cups of cold water. Make sure the coffee is well moistened.
-
Cover the container with a lid or plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator. Let the coffee brew for at least 12 hours, or up to 24 hours for a more intense brew.
-
Once brewing is complete, take another container and place a coffee filter on top. Gently pour the brewed coffee mixture through the filter to remove the coffee beans.
Steps with single doses:
-
In a large container, put the single doses (without opening them) with the 4 cups of cold water. Make sure the coffee is well moistened.
-
Cover the container with a lid or plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator. Let the coffee brew for at least 12 hours, or up to 24 hours for a more intense brew.
-
Once the infusion is finished, remove the monodoses (still closed) from your infusion
Prepare a larger batch of Cold Brew in advance and store it in the refrigerator. This will allow you to have a fresh supply ready to use for several days. Customize it according to your preferences in terms of dilution and flavor additions. This smooth, caffeinated drink is perfect for hot days or for those who prefer a less bitter alternative to traditional coffee.
